Midlands Based Sound Recordist and Production Sound Mixer

Based in Derby, with easy access to Birmingham, Leicester and Coventry. Also have a base near Cambridge for Southern work.

I’m an experienced sound recordist and mixer, with experience on drama, unscripted, commercials and more. I’m a full member of the IPS.

I’ve worked in a wide variety of environments and situations, from lovely dry studio shoots, to wet rainy nights on remote beaches. I’ve worked in busy places such as farm shows, music venues, football crowds and a live circus, as well as in other places such as factories and scrapyards. I’ve also got experience working abroad.

With kit to and experience cover many situations, from multiple recorders to bodypack recorders, working on low loaders, recording live music and more. I have cart setups for drama and a bag setup for anything that requires a smaller rig. I keep sound blankets, carpets and other useful accessories to hand in the van.
